Energy saving

So I finally got around to swapping out those incandescants for energy saving bulbs. And there are two interesting facts, the new white light is much better to work with, I finally got over my fear of ladders. Do your part guys/gals. Reduce your energy usage.

Mens advice column

Dear Roger,

I hope you can help me. The other day, I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV. I hadn't driven more than a mile down the road when the engine conked out and the car shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help.
When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in our bedroom with the neighbour's daughter. I am 32, my husband is 34, and the neighbour's daughter is 22. We have been married for ten years.
When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted that they had been having an affair for the past six months. I told him to stop or I would leave him. He was made redundant six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the ultimatum he has become increasingly distant. He won't go to counselling and I'm afraid I can't get through to him anymore.

Can you please help?
Sincerely, Sheila

Dear Sheila:

A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors.
I hope this helps,
Roger

Another refreshing netball match

This time I'm in the stands watching the FirstCaribbean team. Here's an after match huddle and de-brief. Final score line was 18All draw, kind of lucky in our favour because of a late whistle which allowed us to draw. Anyway, good match girls.

Think b4 u speak

What happens when you predict snow but don't get any!
We had a female news anchor that,
the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked:
'So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?'

Against all odds

After having their mother and three brothers and/or sisters brutally mudered, Storm and Star are doing well. They are getting pretty active and are growing well.

I'd like to urge all dog owners to restrain them, so they do not roam and slaughter other animals, whether cows sheep goat and even cats.

Old not cold

A man went to church one day and afterward he stopped to shake the preacher's hand. He said 'Preacher, I'll tell you, that was a damned fine sermon. Damned good!' The preacher said, 'Thank you sir, but I'd rather you didn't use profanity.' The man said, 'I was so damned impressed with that sermon I put five thousand dollars in the offering plate!' The preacher said, 'No shit?'
