Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Worrell
Just need to big up two dear people to me on their new journey together (although some say it's just a continuation of said journey) and wish them years on years of marital bliss. Kayo grew up 2 houses from me in St. James so we basically knew each other all our lives and Laura I met a few years back and holds a special place in my life.
Here's wishing you two all life's blessings.

Twin Of Twins
Don't know how many of you had a chance to listen to Twin of Twins. Two Jamaican based artists who use comedy to highlight issues in the music industry.
You can hear snippettes of their work on YouTube as well as their MySpace page. I would definitely encourage everyone to give it a listen. Warning, these guys are potty mouths, so if you are overly offended by the f-word, you may need to keep a bit of holy water to rinse your ears after.

i think its been long enough that I can start to celebrate ...
For those out there who want to quit, here are a few things I did.
1. You must really want to quit. It's not a 'everybody's doing it, so why can't I?'. That approach will never work.
2. Gums, patches and the works are useless. Once again you must decide for yourse;lf and then work towards the goal.
3. I began to reduce my smoking gradually till i was down to 3 - 4 for a weekend and none during the week. It was great when people I work with everyday didn't even know I smoked since I didnt have that slly odour following me around.
4. Nothing is easy. I really stopped in early May but I gave in on the last weekend of the month. It felt like I had failed but I put my mind to it again and stuck with it.
Amazingly, I now can smell that smell people always told me about. Ya know when a smoker comes up to you and you can't concentrate since the smell is overpowering? I guess having been on both sides of the fence I can understand.
Anyway, Mind Over Matter

here is what they had to say
BajanHut, you're single because you don't want to settle
You, more than others, have a fairy tale fantasy of how things should be. Ever since you were a kid, you've probably dreamed of the perfect wedding, coming home to a white picket fence, dog, and 2.2 kids (how does that work, anyway?). When someone asks what you're looking for, you don't skip a beat: You're likely to have a handy checklist that details your perfect partner. Hair and eye color, height, religion, education, career, interests, the list goes on.
While it's great to have standards — Hey, you shouldn't have to settle, after all — there's one slight glitch in your master plan: No one has made the grade in real life — at least not yet. Next time you're out with someone, keep yourself from mentally checking that list, and give love — and others — a chance. That special someone who you've written off may be perfect for you after all...

200 students sent home .......
All I can say on this is good job Mr. Farley. I find the 'in-thing' these days is to go against rules and regulations and then try to show how harmless it is.
"It's only 1 inch shorter, what's the big deal?"
Well the big deal is that the regulations set down state clearly that it cant be an inch shorter. Yes, I know some things in life need to be challenged from time to time but when you make illegal activity the norm, you are directly contributing to the continued slide in decency in the general community.
Ever realised that red lights at intersections are almost completely ignored? squatters are allowed to continue stealing the usage of other people's property? consumers continue to default on payments to the NHC? and then they shout out for 'the poor man'. is that supposed to make it ok?
all that rambling to say, Farley, good job. Hope other principals follow suit
...... wait, one thing I wish could happen is to throw a fine in the parents too.
